I hate to write this, but after reporting StellaStarish Cosmetics to two "bad vendor" pages, I was told because she gave me a refund (after 6 weeks of lying and not sending my products), they couldn't list her. I understand their policies (they said they would have to remove her from the list if she refunded me), so it is not their fault at all, but now I feel like I have to use every venue possible to speak out because StellaStarish Cosmetics is acting like she didn't do anything wrong. Her latest status is "Honesty is the best policy always!!! Girls doesn't matter what happens honesty will always prevail! I'm really happy!" Not only is that terribly unprofessional, it's not the truth at all. StellaStarish is one of the farthest thing from honest that I've ever seen.
In October, I was contacted by Stella to do a review of her makeup products. We chatted back and forth quite a bit, and I ended up promoting for her and getting her Facebook fans before the review items even arrived. She told me she sent them the week of October 5th. In November, I still had not received the items. I asked her about them and she said she was just really busy with "paid" orders. I already promoted for her, so I figured I would purchase some makeup so she could bump me to the top of the list. I participated in her Black Friday sale at the end of November. When I emailed her about it, I got no response. Finally on December 1st, she responded and we completed the sale.
By Christmas, I still had not received my order (the paid one or the review one - which I had given up hope on at this point). She emailed me on Christmas saying she promised to mail it on the 26th. On January 11th, I still had not received my makeup. I contacted her on Facebook and she was very rude from the get-go about me not having my order. She said she had mailed it twice and it must have gotten lost. Then she said she had the flu and got sick so she couldn't mail it. Then she said she would mail it again AND give me a refund. I told her I support small businesses and did not want a refund, I just wanted my package. She insisted. I was satisfied - getting my package and a refund was a great way to solve this 6 weeks of waiting for makeup!
Her promoters (that she pays in product) started getting involved, drama ensued, and she blocked me from her page - I was never terribly rude, just stated facts and said that it was terrible customer service, which it was. Stella blocked me from her fan page and I filed a paypal dispute that night. The next day I still had not received a refund, though she promised I would. I escalated the dispute to a claim. On Friday, I finally received a refund - after 6 long weeks of dealing with all of this crap. And she was again claiming she would send my package to me, but now (Saturday), she is saying she will not. I don't expect my package, but it was a nice offer and a great way to make me a repeat customer - but after reporting her to the boutique protection pages on Facebook and her arguing and taking zero responsibility, I've decided I have to warn others about her.
I hate to have to do this, because I love supporting small businesses, but ordering from StellaStarish Cosmetics was a big mistake and I have to let everyone know about it. I am not the only one who has had problems like this. During our conversations, two others posted on her wall asking where their products were. Those posts were promptly deleted and those folks were blocked as well. I saw a post on another fan page about her poor customer service and the person never getting their package, and Stella's fans bullied that person until she removed their post. :( Stella finally sent a delivery confirmation number to that person, though. I never got mine. 6 weeks! Well, almost 3 months if you add in the time from the review item.
I think if Stella had ever sent even one package to me - even if it was late - I would have been a repeat customer. Also if she had stuck with her "I will refund you and send your package" that she stated this week, I would not have reported her or written a post about her. But liars do not deserve to be in business and someone HAS to speak out about them!
